The novelist will discuss 'All together now,' her new book published in early June this year.

Gill Hornby came late to writing novels, possibly daunted by a famous writer husband and brother. A journalist, she has written for the Daily Telegraph and the Guardian. She has previously published a biography of Jane Austen for children and has said this writer's books encouraged her to take village life as a theme for her books. Her first novel The Hive, an observation of playground politics, was a Sunday Times Top 10 bestseller.

All together now, her new novel to be published on 4 June is a sharply observed account of a small-town choir.

The small venue and friendly atmosphere will make this a highly enjoyable event. Audience members may ask questions at the end of the talk and the author will be signing copies of her books, which may be purchased at the event.
