This summer, Free Range Shows will showcase some of Britain’s most innovative and compelling up and coming artists and designers. Now in its fifteenth year, Free Range Shows has grown in prominence becoming a key diary feature for the creative industry to observe the works of the future creative elite. Each week a different discipline from fashion, design, photography, art, interior design and architecture is given its chance to shine within the walls of The Old Truman Brewery.

For many of the young artists involved it is the first opportunity to display their work outside of a university environment, with the exposure from Free Range Shows allowing them to move forward in their careers. More information on previous exhibitors, such as photographer Steve Schofield and Lego designer Justin Ramsden, is available on request.

As a free show held in the creative heart of East London, Free Range Shows is easily accessible to consumers, as well as the art and design world. Last year 100,000 people visited Free Range Shows to see the 3,000 exhibitors on show, from leading arts courses, such as Goldsmiths BA Design, University of the West of England BA Illustration and Bath School of Art BA Fine Art, as well as Interior Educators displaying the work of over 50 Interior Design and Architecture degree courses.

Creative Director and founder Tamsin O’Hanlon says, “The aim of Free Range Shows is to provide career development and opportunities for the incredibly talented artists from leading arts schools. By inviting the public to explore and embrace the cutting edge art that has been created, we hope to inspire the next generation of artists. This year we will be pushing boundaries further than ever with the staggering work on display, such as performance architect Alex Schweder’s collaboration with the Cambridge University Architecture society, an installation called “Push Me Pull You”.”
