Jacob Szuzlecki – Guitar Performance

Percussive fingerstyle acoustic guitar performance with jazz influences –a perfect way to round off the weekend.

Jacob is a solo percussive fingerstyle guitarist Based in East Sussex near the seaside town Eastbourne. He has been playing Guitar since I was 14, although he started playing Jazz drums at secondary school to start his musical journey but soon moved to playing guitar after seeing a local folk guitarist play at a festival in Eastbourne, he was so impressed that he immediately went and got a number from a local music shop to learn fingerstyle folk music and to his surprise the number aquired was for the very person that was playing at the festival, and so for the next 10+ years Jacob had lessons from an amazing local guitarist called Terry Lees, after about 4 years of lessons Terry suggested that Jacob enter for the young acoustic guitarist of the year COMPETITION and was lucky enough to be accepted to the final, since those serendipitous moments music became the sole focus in his life and has been playing shows at as many Venues, Theaters, Pubs and Folk Nights he can. Jacob has an album coming out in 2015 that will be his debut release and coninues to play many shows in Brighton, London and his local area of eastbourne.
