Tormenta Flamenca - Flamenco Blues

A tender tribute to two powerful and distinct artistic traditions - blues and flamenco.

This outstanding show intertwines soulful Blues vocals with explosive Flamenco dance.

Alongside the evening performance the dancers and musicians of Tormenta Flamenca will be running two fantastic workshops during the afternoon of 9 May.

In Flamenco Dance you can channel the power and passion of Flamenco learning techniques and foot rhythms. The workshop will end with a short choreographed dance.

Students must bring shoes or boots with a solid heel of no more than 5.5cm. No strappy sandals, trainers or stilettos.

If you prefer something less energetic but no less passionate then the Flamenco Rhythm workshop will teach you the basic elements of rhythm including palillos (finger clicking) and palmas (hand clapping).
