Join The Poppy Factory for a wonderful evening of music to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo.
Featuring Beethoven, Strauss, and Tchaikovsky’s rousing 1812 Overture, the iconic music will be performed by The Band & Bugles of the Rifles – one of the regiments that valiantly fought at Waterloo two centuries ago.
Our Master of Ceremonies for the night is well-known classical music broadcaster, Jamie Crick, who will ensure the event goes off with a bang!
Tickets are just £15 (plus online booking fee). They can be obtained from www.poppyfactory.org/waterloo or by telephoning The Poppy Factory on 020 8939 1829.
The concert has been generously sponsored by the GC Gibson Charitable Trust.
The Poppy Factory has an inspirational story. From its early days employing disabled veterans to make poppies and wreaths, today’s modern organisation has grown to become the nation’s largest employability service for disabled veterans. Their work now extends beyond the factory in Richmond to supporting their veteran ‘clients’ into workplaces around the UK, ensuring they find and sustain meaningful employment now and for the rest of their lives.
The Poppy Factory are working towards a vision that no disabled veteran who wants to work should be denied that opportunity.
