From 27th April – 4th May 2015, the West Bank Gallery will host its last ever Collective art exhibition, featuring an eclectic mix work from critically acclaimed artists.

Landlords are repossessing the historic building, in order that the stunning venue can be demolished to make way for flats, making Collective 2015 the last ever exhibition of its kind at this particular venue.
“It is a sad day for art and for London that this building will never host another exhibition”, says organiser Danny Rose.

“This eclectic set of artists, which counts illustrators, ballpoint photorealists a South American abstract artist and the jigsaw maker to the Queen among its figureheads, makes this exhibition a celebration of art befitting this venue’s historical association with culture.”

Alongside diverse work from photographers, ballpoint artists and sculptors, the exhibition will also feature a David Bromley original of Lily Allen that was painted for a front cover of Harper’s Bazaar.
The Collective is a social enterprise; the gallery is dry hired and paid for collectively by all the participating exhibitors, meaning that they utilise the space entirely; running it for themselves, by themselves.

Danny has been co-curating the event for four years with artist Kimberley Thomas, whose own artwork will also appear at the exhibition. He added: “What makes our Collective so special is that we take the power from the gallery and put it into the rightful hands of the artist. We are incredibly proud to be working with the exhibitors at this year’s event. It looks set to be our best yet.”
