The Moth StorySLAM: Adventure

This month's theme is adventure - dangerous outings, dubious cohorts and uncharted territory.

Prepare a five-minute story about an experience outside your usual sphere of comfort. Dangerous outings, dubious cohorts, uncharted territory. The joy of the unknowing…the terror of the finding out. Escapades, romps and walkabouts. May the force be with you.

The celebrated NYC radio show continue their debut UK event series. The Moth StorySLAMs are open to anyone with a five-minute, true, story to share on the night's theme - and those who want to watch. When the doors open, sign up to tell a story, volunteer to be on a judging team or just sit back and listen. A half hour later, names are picked, and one by one, storytellers take the stage. The ten featured stories are scored by teams of judges selected from the audience. Each StorySLAM generates a StorySLAM winner. After ten SLAMs, the winners face off in our GrandSLAM Championships.
