Underground for years as a secret songwriter, Kaz Hawkins is now established as one the biggest performers to come out of Northern Ireland, locally called "A Vocal Force" on stage, she envelops the fighting spirit of a true powerhouse singer. Kaz is loved for her down to earth attitude; she brings fun to every performance and is loved not only by her fans but anyone who meets her. She has lived and sang "The Blues" but has much more to offer across different genres in her song writing so is now embarking on a more commercial route writing power ballads and funky roots.

With support gigs under belt such as Van Morrison, Nanci Griffiths, Chris Farlowe, Matt Andersen and special duets with Belfast's Brian Kennedy and The Professor Pat McManus. Kaz also has the backing of many influential representatives in Belfast with a recent presentation from The Lord Mayor of Belfast Máirtin Ó Muilleoir quoted saying "Belfast is proud of your talent and we know you will go on to great things and support you in all you do".

Kaz has been a very big supporter of charities in Northern Ireland and written and donated the anthem for Cancer Focus Northern Ireland CHARITY for The Belfast City Half Marathon 2013 "Run for yer Man" is available for download via Cancer Focus Northern Ireland with proceeds being used for Cancer Research. Kaz also used her life experience in a short film called BELIEVE The Film, which is part of an on-going project she is working with a collective of people from Belfast to promote positive thinking in the arts.

Kaz Hawkins launched her debut album GET READY and received a raft of top notch notices. The album is a passionate celebration of her roots and inspirations in music. She wants to bring back a time when people danced in the aisles, raised their hands in joy and joined in the fun! Kaz invites her audience to dance and rejoice in the glory of her gutsy, heartfelt blues and soul songs.
