Seaside Walk Week is a fantastic opportunity to explore the Great British coast and raise funds to enable struggling families to benefit from a simple break by the sea. Organised by the Family Holiday Association, Seaside Walk Week (23-31 May) comprises a series of guided walks from two to twelve miles.

Both our London walks are being led by Blue Badge guides from the Guild of Registered Tourist Guides - the national membership organisation for professional Tourist Guides throughout Britain - so you can be sure of an entertaining and informative afternoon. We thank them sincerely for their support.

Our long walk along the Thames takes us from modern Canary Wharf through atmospheric Wapping to finish by Traitor’s Gate. We pass by execution dock where pirates would be hung in chains, ancient pubs and the first tunnel under the Thames. Hear tales of developers and dockers, explorers and the heroic “Dead End kids” of the Blitz. The walk is approximately 3.5 miles in length.
