Seaside Walk Week is a fantastic opportunity to explore the Great British coast and raise funds to enable struggling families to benefit from a simple break by the sea. Organised by the Family Holiday Association, Seaside Walk Week (23-31 May) comprises a series of guided walks from two to twelve miles.

Both our London walks are being led by Blue Badge guides from the Guild of Registered Tourist Guides - the national membership organisation for professional Tourist Guides throughout Britain - so you can be sure of an entertaining and informative afternoon. We thank them sincerely for their support.

Our short walk takes us along the banks and piers along the tidal Thames have witnessed invaders , monarchs and merchantmen, even a polar bear fishing for his supper! Take a guided walk from Gabriel’s Wharf, past famous landmarks and hidden alleyways, over bridges and along the north and south banks. See the site of “London’s larder”, the wharves where garlic, wines and citrus fruits were unloaded and finish like the last line of the nursery rhyme “a chopper to chop off your head” - by Traitor’s Gate under the walls of the mighty Tower of London.
