THE BAWDIES are ROY (Vo,B) TAXMAN (G,Vo) JIM (G) and MARCY(Dr), formed in January 1, 2004 in Japan.

In April 2009 the band released their 1st album "THIS IS MY STORY". Shortly after their debut, the band has gained huge amount of response among Japanese music scene, and started playing for number of major festivals in Japan, such as SUMMER SONIC, FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL among many others, and most of the time, with invitation to play at main stages.

Their musical development was influenced by R&B and Rock 'n' roll. The biggest influence of all was THE SONICS (In 2012, they invited THE SONICS to the band's tour, and played with their dream band). In early 2015, the band accomplished their second sold-out Budokan show. Now, it is time for the band to bring out their music to the world and become one kick-ass rock band from Japan.
