On The Spot

A Dance contest where the dancers get to choose their music song choice and bust out their greatest moves to an audience. Your fate is in the audiences hands as judge who's hot and who's not.

Rules

Solo Dance competition with exception of Partner dancers. No Crews, duos, trios etc.

Dancers must choose an Original track by Janet Jackson, You can choose a track that Janet has featured on too but no Remixes.

Maximum time frame is 3 mins.

You are allowed to edit your song choice only to suit the time frame not to add, chop and screw the song as this would be classified as a Remix.

You can use any props to help your performance and we urge you to dress the part too!

All song choices, your name and dance style must be submitted on the event page by Tuesday 28th April.

Any entrants on the day will not be allowed to choose their song but will dance to the DJ's Choice.

Schedule

Prelims: 3 min maximum showcases each.

Top 8: 1 min Max 1 round showcases to DJ's choice of Janet Jackson

Final 4: 1 min Max, 2 rounds Final Circle Jam.
