An evening of no-nonsense, indie rock with The Common Heroes.
Surrey based band born from the ashes of Passenger Smith, The Common Heroes are making melodic waves again on the music scene.

The Common Heroes

The Common Heroes are an indie rock band made up of an eclectic mix of musicians with a wide range of musical taste, age and experience. They have headlined festivals and supported some famous names in the music industry. Their completely original music combines the sound of artists such as Paul Weller, The Who and Oasis to create a unique melodic wall of sound.

Guitar Riffs to catch the listener’s ear are accompanied by thumping, driving bass lines, innovative drumming and passionate vocals.

A Common Heroes show comes with a guarantee of a good time. You will not be disappointed as these reviews show;

Explode The TV

Explode The TV were formed in 2011 by Bentley Browning, who was looking for equally-mad-for-it musicians. He found Chris Witherall and Andi Skipsey — a fierce rhythm section. Within 2 weeks of naming the band — as a metaphor for smashing darkness, fear and lies — they got an audition for a Sky TV documentary. After succeeding at the audition, the band got kicked off the show for "TV smashing antics" and outspoken comments on the media's shortfalls. The footage lies in the vaults of Sky TV and is sure to be unearthed soon. Amy Winehouse served the drinks at that show. Spotted by Tom Aidenhead, producer with Pete Doherty and The Mystery Jets, they started work on their debut album, Godbox The band had previously released their double A-side single "Use Me/Cry For Attention".

Brightlight City

Slice up some British punk, add a teaspoon of the Seattle sound, a dash of pop melodies and a few scoops of tasty rock riffs seasoned with hardcore and you have BRIGHTLIGHT CITY.

A rock band made up of long term friendship and brotherhood, brought together by their shared love of bands such as Hundred Reasons, Million Dead, Foals, Yourcodenameis:milo, At the Drive-In, Refused, Hell Is for Heroes, Thrice, Biffy Clyro and Jimmy Eat World.
