The Dead Parrot Society Presents Stand-up Comedy

The Dead Parrot Society is a ridiculously friendly local comedy club showcasing the best of hand-picked new talent from the circuit as well as welcoming famous faces from the telly who drop in regularly to try new stuff.

The Anglers hosts the club upstairs in The Cooper room every other Friday (more or less) and always have at least half a dozen acts on the bill.

The resident MC is BBC Radio 4's Viv Groskop (Saturday Live, Loose Ends): "Very funny" - Omid Djalili.
