Independent Spanish brewery, Estrella Galicia, has joined forces with Tapas Revolution chef, Omar Allibhoy, to celebrate authentic Galician culture and gastronomy at Netil360 during a two month residency

From Wednesday 13th May until Tuesday 7th July, Little Galicia will introduce Londoners to an authentic ‘street food’ style tapas menu, bursting with Galician inspired flavours in a menu created by celebrated Spanish chef, Omar Allibhoy and curated by Estrella Galicia at Netil360 rooftop.

Little Galicia will echo the welcoming and peaceful atmosphere of the little Spanish city with hammocks to lounge in, cushioned areas and a subtle glow of lantern lighting for guests to relax and soak up the Galician experience. The chilled set-up will be complete with telescopes, perfect for when the dark skies step in and the stars begin to glisten.

The menu, skilfully arranged to take guests on a mouth-watering journey and savour Galicia’s culinary delights, will be matched alongside a selection of world-class Estrella Galicia beers, served against a backdrop of stunning panoramic views of the London skyline. From creamy but mild beverage Estrella Galicia 1906 Reserva Especial 6.5%, prepared from rich toasted malts and hops, to the spicy, light tones of Estrella Galicia, served straight from the eye-catching ceramic lighthouse font, hand crafted in the traditional Galician pottery house of Sagadelos, each dish has been carefully designed by Omar to complement the taste of Estrella Galicia.

Brand Manager for Estrella Galicia UK, Lindsay Castling, commented: “We are excited about bringing a little bit of Galicia to the London food scene and having the opportunity of working with the truly talented Omar Allibhoy. With the recent opening of Omar’s third Tapas Revolution bar in Shoreditch creating a buzz, we wanted to use his expertise on creating a menu that is at the heart of Estrella Galicia but also with an East London edge”.

Director at Netil360, Ben Revill, said: “This year Netil360 has been granted an official alcohol license and so it is an exciting time for us as we schedule a summer of creative events for East London. When Estrella Galicia came to us with their vision for an authentic street food style tapas residency to complement their traditional Galician beers we were delighted to start the season off with a taste of dining and drinking which fits our own vision for the roof top this summer”.

Little Galicia will be open for all to enjoy on Thursdays and Fridays from 6pm to 9pm as well as Saturdays and bank holiday Sunday from midday – 9pm. Estrella Galicia will also be announcing further events throughout the two month residency at Netil360.
