About Eirini Nikopoulou: Eirini Nikopoulou is a Film Curator and Producer for Marketing and Distribution for independent films with vast experience in programming and organising International Film festivals and dedicated screenings, as well as in designing custom made marketing campaigns, both for conventional and social media. She designed the marketing and audience engagement strategy for award winning independent feature films, such as the British avant-garde film Shadow Gene and the Greek film Alpha, the second in Europe to be entirely funded through crowd-funding. As Head Programmer of Cyprus International Film Festival she led a tight team which showcased the work of emerging first and second time filmmakers. She is always exploring alternative ways of film distribution and exhibition and is involved in innovative projects in collaboration with Cinemania London, Deptford Cinema, The Hellenic Centre in London and NISI MASA NGO amongst others.
