Fulham All Stars V Celebrity All Stars

Fulham FC’s annual charity football match returns to Craven Cottage in just under a fortnight’s time. Fulham FC is welcoming families and people of all ages to the Shooting Star Chase Cup on Saturday 23rd May (Kick-off 1pm) to enjoy a fun day out by the River Thames for the start of the Bank Holiday weekend.

A host of ex-professional footballers, sports personalities and celebrities will come together under the management of Game of Thrones actor Sean Bean when they face the Fulham All Stars.

Some of the names already confirmed for the Celebrity All Stars squad are former World Middleweight boxing champion Darren Barker, Olympic Gold Medallist rower Mark Hunter, music artist Tinchy Stryder and former England Rugby Union International, Ugo Monye.

The Celebrity All Stars will face stern opposition from a Fulham All Stars team captained by Sean Davis who will be looking to record a hat-trick of wins over celebrity rivals for the third year running.

The Fulham All Stars line-up includes Craven Cottage favourites John Pantsil, Barry Hayles, Rufus Brevett, Maik Taylor and Paul Peschisolido. The team will be joined once more by avid Fulham fan, Felix White, from indie rock band The Maccabees.

Proceeds raised from this match will go towards two charities. The Fulham Football Club Foundation is a leading community sport charity that aims to build better lives through sport and Shooting Star Chase, Fulham FC’s local charity partner, supports families with a child or teenager who has a life-limiting condition. All of the players taking part in the All Starts match will give their time for free to support these worthy causes.
