A creative artist needs time to reflect and the creative process rarely works to a regular timetable. How far, therefore, is it helpful for a creative artist to define and set goals? Can doing so enhance the creative process, or is there a danger it could impede or stifle it?

This 2-hour workshop lead by Esther Cavett, a coach and facilitator, will be practical and interactive. You will leave with a toolkit of techniques to define and refine your goals as an artist and whether you seek to develop your skills for business or for pleasure. You will leave refreshed and with a variety of techniques to support and enhance your working day.

Our previous workshop participants have been from a wide range of creative areas from jewellery design to film and from individual artists to small creative companies.
This workshop will accommodate a limited number of delegates so please book early to secure your place!

About Esther Cavett: Esther has broad practical experience in many different roles and working environments, all of which inform her skills as a coach and facilitator: she has made her living as a classical musician, teacher, writer and lawyer. She has worked in schools, universities, large businesses and small not for profits and also on a one-to-one basis. She is trained in psychological coaching and brings to these sessions her knowledge of evidence based, practical cognitive behavioural coaching techniques. She encourages participants to work together in a supportive environment to think through issues constructively and to leave the session with some useful tools and techniques to apply in the future.
