Alexandria, VA, USA, -- Classical Movements is pleased to announce the concert of one of America’s finest music schools, the Yale School of Music. The Yale Schola Cantorum is dedicated to historical performance practice and is committed to fostering relationships abroad and to recruiting international students for their degree programs. The ensemble, under the direction of David Hill, will perform concerts and Evensongs at some of England’s most prestigious venues like Winchester Cathedral, St. George’s Chapel, Westminster Abbey and St. John’s College Chapel. In addition, the Yale Schola Cantorum will perform with the Juilliard415 ensemble of the Juilliard School of Music with concerts at the The University Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Oxford, St. John’s Smith Square in London, Trinity College Chapel as part of the Cambridge Summer Music Festival, and St. Sulpice in Paris. The Yale Schola Cantorum will premiere a new work at Winchester Cathedral– O Brother Man by Roderick Williams after its U.S. premiere in New York City. Yale hopes that the concert tour will develop alliances with universities abroad and further teaching and student exchanges. All concert and travel arrangements have been made by Classical Movements.
