Terrace with DJ Tennis, Fritz Zander

On 12th July, get ready for a very special party as we leave our outdoor terrace in the exceptionally capable hands of a certain Manfredi Romano, aka DJ Tennis. A former semi-professional tennis player, Romano is perhaps most famous for his role as founder and A&R of Life and Death. Over the past 5 years he has taken the label to stratospheric heights, carefully creating and moulding what has now become their signature sound - dark pop and melodic house with hints of everything from psychedelia to Italian Cosmic Disco. DJ Tennis will be playing a special extended set.

Joining him will be long-time Oval Space friend Fritz Zander. Hailing from Berlin and a part of the B Pitch Control family, Fritz's terrace sets from last year were one of the highlights of our summer season so it gives us great pleasure to have him back.

Well we did tell you it would be a very special party, and as fate would have it, our terrace session with DJ Tennis just so happens to fall on the Wimbledon Mens' Final. To mark the serendipitous occasion, we'll be rolling out the astroturf, prepping the Pimms, laying on the strawberries and cream and more. Game, set and match.
