Kopparberg Urban Forest

This summer London is set to enjoy another season of Scandi fun as one of last year’s most successful pop up festivals, the Kopparberg Urban Forest, returns to the capital.

After a successful summer in Dalston last year, the Kopparberg Urban Forest will find itself planted in Hackney Wick for five weeks from 10th June until 12th July. The event will see Swedish and London culture entwine in a heady mix of live music, street food and drink.

Open for five weeks, under the canopy of the Kopparberg Urban Forest, a magical clearing will showcase the intriguing beauty of the Swedish pine forest surrounding the brewery in the small town of Kopparberg. Here, summer fun seekers will enjoy sunny days and balmy nights around a stage that will be graced by the UK’s top festival music artists, DJs and established Scandi acts.

This year’s line up will follow in the footsteps of last summer, when international superstar Kelis wowed the party alongside the likes of Little Dragon, MØ, New Young Pony Club, The Subways, Gaz Coombes, Lucy Rose and The Doctor’s Orders.

Carved into the forest will be a woodland bar serving an abundance of refreshments from the Kopparberg Brewery, including its delicious Swedish fruit ciders and beers. Alongside this, a selection of the finest street food vendors will root themselves on site to fuel the party.

The Kopparberg Urban Forest is set to give the capital’s summer a Scandi twist and provide an electrifying and enchanting experience amongst the urban streets.

Entry to Kopparberg Urban Forest will be free and open to over 18s only.
