The Portman Summer Street Party

Let your hair down and celebrate summer at The Portman Summer Street Party on Thursday 9th July, from 5pm to 10pm, when once again, those living and working in Marylebone are getting together for an annual jolly.

Come on down Seymour Place and New Quebec Street, Marylebone, W1 to enjoy some live music, family entertainment and creative activities for all ages. Entice your taste buds and sample delicious foods, from free frozen yoghurt at Daisy Green to sashimi at La Petite Poissonnerie, and other savoury delights at Vinoteca and Donostia. You can also enjoy one of summer’s greatest assets – al fresco drinking – from free Pimm’s to discounts on summer cocktails and wine.

Enjoy some late night shopping with discounts and freebies available throughout the evening or treat yourself to a pampering session at Beauty Rose, who will be celebrating their first birthday. Fun and games can also be had in stores, providing exciting prize opportunities, from ring throwing at BuyMyWardrobe to a raffle at Taliare.

Live music by singer/songwriters Tyler Rix and Charlene, and lively steel band, Solid Steel will add to the summer party ambience. A variety of family entertainment, including a children’s tea party and gingerbread classes at GAIL’s Artisan Bakery, and giant Jenga and Connect Four, will provide fun for all the family. Budding artists can also make their mark on the giant doodle wall, and little ones can create floral headbands as a souvenir of the day.

Working with local charity, The West London Day Centre, The Portman Summer Street Party is free to attend, with donation opportunities available at the event.

Please note that free samples are served on a first come first served basis, so guests are encouraged to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
