Gelato Festival

Get down to Spitalfields this summer to experience the ultimate Italian gelato experience. The Gelato Festival 2015 brings the best of the best gelato masters from Italy to London for the first time, to share their exclusive recipes, masterclasses in the gelato lab and a whole host of surprises from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th June.

Every summer the Gelato Festival tours Italy, interpreting the ultimate hot-weather food in all its forms, presenting innovations in production technology and celebrating high-quality ingredients.

Eight gelato masters are ready for the competition, each with an original flavour. They will be taking turns making their creations during the three days of the event and the combined vote of the juries (on technical merit and popularity) will decide the winner, who will move up to participate in the European final at the Gelato Festival of Florence, the birthplace of gelato, from 1st to 4th October 2015.
