The UK’s fastest growing snack brand, PROPERCORN, will be dressing London in popcorn this summer. Brightening up everything from buildings and pavements, to shabby phone boxes and Routemaster buses, the streets of London will be decorated in the brand’s colourful, signature popcorn pattern.

Working with acclaimed set-designer turned art director, Rachel Thomas, PROPERCORN has curated a series of interactive installations around the capital. The sites will transform ordinary urban spaces into colourful hubs of social activity, where visitors can enjoy a PROPERCORN inspired drink with friends, courtesy of the brand.

Whilst PROPERCORN’s team created the distinctive popcorn pattern, the brand has drawn on the experience of Rachel Thomas, whose previous collaborations include Anya Hindmarch, Mulberry and Vogue. Positioned at the forefront of the UK Design scene, Rachel’s sets create the perfect blend of playful and sophisticated, using illusion, perspective and scale to bring PROPERCORN’s colourful pattern to life.

Cassandra Stavrou, 31-year-old co-founder of PROPERCORN, said of the initiative, “We were tired of brands telling us what to do and when to do it. We’ve worked with some incredible, creative talent to design a colourful, pattern-filled campaign that brings theatre to the streets of London. It says more about our popcorn, than words ever could”.

Creating popcorn that is both delicious and guilt-free, PROPERCORN pride themselves on doing things properly and their first campaign is set to be no exception. Expect interactive installations, rotating food and drink pop-ups and live entertainment throughout June and July.

A splash of colour, pattern and popcorn, to brighten up every Londoner’s day.
