The London campus will be hosting a large outdoor screen and a series of free events

Bring your summer to life at picturesque Paddington Central, situated on the Grand Union Canal near Little Venice, just four stops away from London’s busy Oxford Street. Paddington Central is making its mark this summer with a programme of free activities, and the installation of a large outdoor screen sponsored by innocent drinks that will be showing the biggest sporting events of the season.

On 15th June, the large outdoor screen will be up and running in Paddington Central’s Sheldon Square. Paddington Central will also be running its very own Smoothie Bike Challenge giving you a chance to test your stamina and smoothie making skills in a unique interactive bike ride and ‘virtual race. The race will see you competing against the clock and each other to create the most delicious smoothie by being the most skilled rider.

The screen is completely free to watch and will run right up until the end of October 2015 showing a selection of the following sports:

• Royal Ascot: 16th – 20th June
• US Open: 16th – 20th June
• England v New Zealand Cricket: 23rd June
• Wimbledon: 29th June – 12th July
• Tour de France: 4th – 24th July
• The Ashes: 8th July – 21st August
• British Open: 13th – 18th July
• The Grand Prix: 4th July – 5th September
• The Ruby World Cup: 29th August – 25th October

Rebecca Walton, Head of Brand and Communication at Paddington Central, said “Our canal side location and open-air, green spaces offer a haven from the daily stresses of office life. We want those visiting or who live and work in Paddington Central to really make the most of the campus this summer and take advantage of the exciting range of free classes and events or take time out to watch their favourite sports on the big screen.”

The popular waterside dining district will also give you the opportunity to reclaim your lunch break with a variety of free 45 minute classes ranging from art and photography to well-being seminars taking place across the campus as well as yoga sessions in the canal’s floating classroom.

In addition Paddington Central will be supporting the first ever National Busking Day, taking place on 18th July. Lunchtime and evening performances will be held during the course of the week and will tie in with other activity taking place across London.

Best of all, all activities are free.
