Hackney Summer Fete, 18th July

Marking a summer celebration of all that Hackney has to offer in food, beverages, arts, crafts, music and entertainment, this year’s Hackney Summer Fete will be taking place on 18th July at St. John at Hackney Church.

The event will run over nine conjoined sites across the parish grounds and the Narrow Way between 12-7pm, and features an incredible variety of local businesses selling their wares and entertaining what is expected to be over 2000-strong crowds.

With food and drink curated by Hackney Heart Market and The Five Points Brewing Company, music by Hackney Empire, Visions Festival, and Shoreditch Radio, as well as entertainment for adults and kids alike, the afternoon is set for perfect family fun.

After 7pm, the event moves over to L’Entrepot for a drinks reception with free pétanque. All proceeds from the day will be going to the church’s chosen charities of Hackney Night Shelter and Hackney Food Bank.

With almost 3000 people in attendance last year, and coverage reaching press as far as the New York Post, the Hackney Summer Fete is quickly becoming one of the most beloved dates in London’s summer calendar – be sure to join the crowds.
