Performed by international recording artists MARY CAREWE and MAE MCKENNA who along with an outstanding band bring their unique sound to some of the greatest songs ever written including Big Yellow Taxi, Natural Woman, You’re So Vain, 9 To 5, Nobody Does It Better, Time After Time, Someone Like You, Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves and many, many more.

Mary Carewe and Mae McKenna celebrate the women who have changed the face of pop music over the past 60 years and whose legacy is a catalogue of songs that have become the soundtrack of our lives.

Mary Carewe is a concert artist whose performances around the world include appearances at New York's Carnegie Hall, Berlin's Philharmonic Hall and The Royal Albert Hall. She is also a busy session singer working on film soundtracks, radio broadcasts, CD recordings as well as TV and jingles.

Mae McKenna was part of folk-rock band Contraband when she was 16 and since has recorded 6 solo albums. She has sung backing vocals on over 200 top ten hits and features on numerous TV and radio commercials, films and television shows.

Mary and Mae have worked together in the studio for the last 15 years but this is their first live collaboration.

The band includes:
Steve Jeffries (Keyboards) who was in jazz-funk band Inversions and political rock band Latin Quarter in the 80s, has produced records for Elton John and Charles Aznavour and is a composer of TV and film music.

Martin Ditcham (Percussion) who co-wrote Sade's The Sweetest Taboo and has worked with The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, U2, Everything But The Girl and Chris Rea amongst others.

Anna Carewe (Cello) who works as a soloist and chamber musician in Europe including with The Berlin Philharmonic and her own Sheridan Ensemble.
