The Roman Road Summer Festival returns for another fun family day out celebrating all things local.

The festival kicks off on Sunday 12th July at Gladstone Place E3 with a spectacular performance from local dance sensation IMD Legion of Britain’s Got Talent fame at 11am. There will be family cartoons on our big outdoor screen followed by the Wimbledon Men’s Final from 1.30pm. Enjoy strawberries, Pimms and an array of local food. There’ll be the chance for both adults and children to get active with workshops from West Ham Foundation and Tower Hamlets Tennis as well as table tennis, swing ball and other giant street games.

The grand finale will be on Sunday 19th July at the Roman Road car park E3 with a Sunday Market and Eid Party featuring DJ Ritu,, Bollywood dancers and stilt walkers. There will be a feast of food with Halal Asian and world food stalls. Face painting, henna tattooing, giant bubbles and craft activities will keep children entertained.

The Roman Road Summer Festival is FREE to attend and booking is not required. The events - at both Gladstone Place on the 12th and the Roman Road car park on the 19th - start at 11am.

Throughout the festival period local businesses will host fringe events and offer special promotions. A full programme of events and listings will be available at www.romanroadlondon.com/festival
