Mannequin is the first animated opera of it's kind on the subject of bio-ethics.
It's a collaboration between award winning animator Izabela Barszcz and composer Maria Vatenina.

The idea of human cloning is often disregarded by us as mere fantasy, something out of science fiction, but in the fields of bio-ethics and reproductive law the possibility has been at the centre of a long standing debate.

The story follows Ania, played by Heloise Werner, who is a clone of deceased singer Anna. She suffers an identity crisis, until she discovers there is more than one clone of Anna.

Soprano- Heloise Werner, Saxophone - Sue Lynch, Piano- William Cole, Percussion - Anna Gasco-Gomez.
