Barnaby's London Horns

The London Horns are the new sound of the modern jazz horn section, with a stylistic versatility and a groove-driven feel that gives them an explosive live impact. Featured on Kylie Minogue’s world tour the “London Horns” have established themselves as one of the most formidable musical front lines in the world. Barnaby Dickinson, who includes work with Jamie Cullum and Kenny Wheeler, is one of the best trombonists in Europe, Europe's leading flautist Gareth Lockrane has been seen with the likes of Incognito, Gwilym Simcock and Bheki Mseleku and young trumpet player Tom Walsh is one of the most exciting prospects on the scene who already includes work with the likes of Van Morrison, Al Jarreau, the BBC Big Band and Mica Paris on an ever-growing cv. The band wouldn't be complete without the top class rhythm section of Dave Tench (The Voice, Lady Gaga) on keyboard, Diego Rodriguez (Rumer, Michael Bublé) on bass and Dave De Rose (Jamie Cullum, Mark Ronson) on drums. This amazing three-horn front line creates an electrifying, powerful and extremely musical sound performing a repertoire that is a mix of groove originals and high-energy standards.
