On Monday 13th July Martell, the oldest of the great Cognac houses, is teaming up with legendary cocktail bar The Blind Pig to see in Bastille Day in style with a Cognac focused cocktail menu and paired snacks.

The event is open to the public from 6pm and going on late into the evening with a special late licence till 2am, eight special Martell Cognac cocktails.

Martell Cognac expert Matthias Lataille will also be doing a guest shift behind the bar from 7pm – 9pm, providing guests with classic cocktails and specialist Cognac know how.

The Blind Pig’s Head Bartender, Kyle Wilkinson explains: “There will be four classic Martell Cognac cocktails and four Blind Pig twists on each of these. We’ve also worked with the team at Social Eating House to provide French inspired bar snacks to accompany each cocktail. It’s a great excuse to celebrate the best of French food and drink and who better to work with than Martell Cognac who are celebrating their 300th anniversary this year.”
