Visit Charlton House and hear Dr Claire Gapper talk about British Renaissance plasterwork. View surviving examples of beautiful plasterwork in Charlton House, regarded as the best preserved Jacobean House in Greater London. Built 1607-1612, Dr Gapper will talk about materials and their uses, in a setting where you can view examples around you.

The evening will give visitors the opportunity to explore Charlton House with a guide, and a glass of wine. If you've never visited before this is a rare chance to experience this hidden gem.

This is the first event organised for the Friends of Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust, guests can join the Friends on the evening for just £15 a year, and support the work of the Trust or contact us at [email protected] to join in advance.
