Code Mesh London is the European conference for alternative technologies and programming languages. It takes place on 3-4 November (Tutorials day on 2 Nov).
Expect code-heavy talks from over 50 speakers, including Sir Tony Hoare - creator of the Quicksort algorithm, co-designer of Haskell John Hughes, co-inventors of Erlang Joe Armstrong and Robert Virding, Don Syme - creator of F#, co-inventor of Julia Stefan Karpinski, Evan Czaplicki - designer of Elm, core team members of Hack and Rust languages and many more.
Code Mesh brings together a wide range of alternative technologies and programming languages and the wonderful crazy people who use them to solve real-world problems in software industry. We promote “the right tools for the job", as opposed to automatically choosing the tools at hand. And by ‘tools’ we mean technologies, languages, libraries, databases, operating systems, hardware platforms, or more generally techniques, styles or paradigms.
Speakers : Toni Hoare, Robert Virding, Stefan Karpinski, Don Syme, Mary Sheeran, Sydney Padua, Martin Thompson, Evan Czaplicki, Stuart Bailey, Marc Shapiro
