Following our hugely successful exhibition showcasing our 2017 winners, the winning images from the 2018 Travel Photographer of the Year awards will be on display at London Bridge City in 2019, against the stunning backdrop of City Hall, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.

The exhibition will be held outdoors on the south bank of the River Thames next to City Hall, with views across the river to the Tower of London and London Bridge. This free exhibition is open-air in a public space so will be viewable all day.

New for 2019! Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) and Photo Iconic are staging a series of low-cost photowalks and photography workshops during the exhibition period.

This bustling venue is enjoyed by visitors from across the globe and has a vibe loved by those who work and live in the area. It is surrounded by some of the City’s most famous landmarks and is steeped in rich British culture. Rubbing shoulders with the likes of Borough Market, The Shard and HMS Belfast, this vibrant and forward-thinking community is one of the most visited riverside London destinations.

This area was once known as London’s Larder, and was one of the city’s largest docks, bringing in the majority of London’s food from the 18th Century to 1970. That association with ships travelling in from all over the globe - together with the large numbers of British and international visitors who flock to this area today - is highly appropriate to a photography award that celebrates the very best images of our world, its cultures, landscapes, environment and wildlife.
