Festival of Heat - London's Chilli Festival

Promoting aspiring and established talent, the festival brings together the very best producers, market traders and chefs from around the UK. A few big names include, Encona, West Indian Pepper Sauce who will sponsor this year's Festival Kitchen, Mushemi Fire, Zambian Chilli Products and Grim Reaper Foods Ltd who will showcase their finest fiery foods, including jams, sauces and pickles.

Watch, listen and learn as Flavour Gurus from The World of Zing and Made in Hackney reveal their secrets in the Festival Kitchen through master classes, workshops and demonstrations. Topics include, 'Growing the Perfect Chilli', 'Cooking with Chilli to achieve the perfect Heat' and 'How to Make a Good Curry'. There is also the opportunity to pick up some top tips on sending your own hot sauce to market - from production to shelf.

Festival Kitchen Debate, special guests, to be announced. Come and have your say on why we should buy from local producers and be asking where our food comes from. Local DJs and bands will really set the festival a glow by providing music from across the world, expect anything from live folk music to Bangladeshi dancing, what ever your taste, there's something for everyone.

In keeping with The Festival of Heat's ethos of being accessible for all, especially families and the local community, entrance is just £7.50 per person, children under the age of 16 years Free Entry accompanied by a responsible adult.
