To celebrate the display of Defying Gravity in our First World War in the Air exhibition we will be holding live dance performances in the Grahame-White Factory by graduating Middlesex University Dance Students on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August. Timings for each piece are given below. Each dance performance is free for the public to view.

The piece that will be performed during the course of the weekend is:

Fruit Salad
Choreographed by Sara-Jayne Berrill
Performed by Natalie Merrifield and Ashleigh Sims

A live performance between two dancers, exploring and responding to the portraits of First World War RAF soldiers beyond their composed, heroic snapshots.

This takes place by our wall of First World War photo portraits. On Saturday 8 and on Sunday 9 at 12:30 pm , 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm.

Our First World War in the Air Programme of Events is supported by BAE Systems and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
