Family Passport Workshop at Oxford House in Bethnal Green

Oxford House is pleased to invite you to a free and exciting family drop-in workshop for children aged 6 to 12 (siblings and parents welcome), exploring themes of identity and migration through art and digital media – great fun for the school holidays! Participants are encouraged to come along and make a family memento, with the opportunity to be involved in a larger art project in collaboration with Somerset House Digital Artist in Residence, Edwin Mingard.

The workshop forms part of a wider community programme, run by the Ben Uri art society to commemorate its centenary anniversary alongside the main exhibition, Out of Chaos; Ben Uri: 100 Years in London, on display at Somerset House. The project also includes Postcards from Aldgate East, currently showing in the gallery space at Oxford House, documenting a series of photographs taken by East End residents over a number of walks in Aldgate East.
