This course will give school leaders the practical tools to develop more effective leadership skills, improve the performance of the school and achieve the best possible Ofsted grade.

The Department for Education's Headteachers Standards Review has proposed drastic changes on how schools should be managed. Successfully adapting to these changes will boost your schools all round performance – making it easier to achieve and maintain an 'outstanding' rating.

On this practical course you will hear from the chair, Independent Education Consultant Dr Jean Alder, on how the review will impact you, and how to successfully adapt to the new guidelines.

Learn from expert speakers and best practise case studies including Dame Dana Ross-Wawrzynski, Chair of the Headteacher Standards Review who will be discussing the future scope of school leadership in the UK.

Sir Andrew Carter OBE, Headteacher of South Farnham School will be discussing how to communicate compellingly with staff and pupils, driving strategic leadership and empowering all to excel.

Artists / Speakers: Dr Jean Alder - Independent Education Consultant, Dame Dana Ross-Wawrzynski - Chair of the Headteacher Standards Review, Max Coates - Institute of Education, Sir Andrew Carter OBE - Headteacher at South Farnham School, Alice Hudson - Executive Headteacher at Twyford Church of England High School.
