The session will begin with an asana practice and will progress lab style into the world of hand and arm balancing.


Do not be fooled into thinking you will be able to do all by the end of the session, that takes practice, practice, practice.

What you will get is a direction and an approach to mastering them.

In this workshop:

the session will cover upper body conditioning to enable you to take your weight in your own hands.

many arm balances requires hip flexibility and freedom of movement in the torso so as part of the asana practice we will work on these areas.

we will also cover the art of handstands and forearm stand, as well as a variety of arm balances.

be prepared to work in pairs or in small groups, you will support and support each other during the session.

This workshop is ideal for the regular yoga practitioner practicing for at least 9 months to a year and who are keen to explore their hand and arm balancing potential.

Jaqui is a vinyasa and acroyoga teacher with an asana practice spanning almost 20 years.
She is fascinated with acrobatics and handstands.

Her teaching style encourages playful collaboration and connection.
