THE ACTS

Denai Moore is a singer/songwriter born in Spanish Town, Jamaica, who relocated to East London when she was 10. Since then, the 22 year old was picked up by french indie label Because Music (Metronomy, Django Django), released her debut album 'Elsewhere' and performed across the globe at various festivals, including this year's Glastonbury. Inspired by Lauryn Hill, Bon Iver and Feist, the singer's eclectic taste comes through in her music, with her sound described as 'lush and layered' by the Guardian. Denai already has some huge collaborations under her belt, including supporting Tom Odell, and features on SBTRKT's latest album, and rising star Mura Masa's debut EP 'Someday Somewhere'.

Tay Salem is a 22 year-old songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from London. After being noticed by multi-platinum producer and songwriter Jake Gosling, Tay kicked off 2015 by signing an exclusive publishing deal with The Movement London in sponsorship with leading independent publisher Bucks Music Group. With roots in jazz, hip-hop, and neo-soul, Tay's cites Frank Ocean, James Blake, and D'Angelo among his biggest influences. Tay has finished work on a new EP at Gosling's Sticky Studios. ‘French Cold' will be due for release on 31st July 2015.

Kèmi Adè is a singer songwriter from South London, representing the provocative future of soul music. Her niche sound can be described as a slow cooked genre gumbo infused with Hip-Hop, Neo-Soul, Country, Indie, and Jazz. As a person she's always found Catharsis in putting pen to paper. Navigating through the truth and honesty of her emotions, she is able to ink relatable songs lead by her unearthly vocal range. We're pleased to present Kemi as our up-and-coming showcase act.
