Winners of the first Brighton Music Award for Best Song and the o2 Think Big bursary, You Cry Wolf present a radical new take on live music performance with their Camden Fringe debut ‘A Fresh Start (for Peter Russo)’.

Taking you on a vivid journey inside the story of Peter Russo, a parable of obsession and its consequences, ‘A Fresh Start (For Peter Russo)’ invites its audience to take centre-stage as they are transported inside the story, to see through the eyes and into the soul of their eponymous protagonist.

No ordinary gig, ‘A Fresh Start (for Peter Russo)’ marks a reconceptualisation of what live music can be. It immerses audiences in a total multi-sensory environment with specifically designed set, video projections and of course, the band playing live.

There is no stage; no spot light; You Cry Wolf have created a window into their song, where experience, memory and narrative supersede the conventions of performing music. With an accompanying visual art exhibition in the space, obsession, desire, failure and success form the all-consuming conditions for this music-based escapade to unfold.
