Internationally acclaimed artist, McCrow is exhibiting at Gallery@Oxo from Thursday 20 August, to Monday 6 September.

This show, entitled ‘One Less Gun’, follows McCrow’s highly successful London exhibition ‘History Interrupted’, which attracted over 25,000 visitors, as well as gaining recognition for his work by being awarded permanent residency at the Hoerle Guggenheim in New York.
This ambitious show includes an iconic collection of protest art created from decommissioned AK47s to impressive canvases of bullets that comment on the real price of munitions.

The show will also see the official launch of McCrow’s ‘Gun Neutral’ campaign, which is directed at the film industry. Simply put, the film producers, in partnership with McCrow and designated NGOs, destroy a real weapon for every weapon shown in the film, making them gun neutral; the first to take part is a film called Tomorrow, produced by Martin Scorsese, which is due for release later this year.
