Mishaped Pearls

At the forefront of a very exciting new wave of UK folk, seven piece Mishaped Pearls have been blowing us away with their absorbing multi-instrumental live performances, their heartfelt songs and stunning musicianship. We've seen them in various venues, and regardless of the size, it is always an intimate and stimulating experience.

Their latest album 'Thamesis' has received wide acclaim from media including The Telegraph, The Financial Times, Songlines Magazine, fRoots Magazine,
The Guardian, Tom Robinson (BBC6 Music) and many more. They've just performed at Cambridge Folk Festival to add to the long list of beautiful settings in which they've played.

“Really intriguing - I love this” - Mark Radcliffe, BBC Radio 2 Folk Show

“Absolutely gorgeous, gorgeous music” - Bob Harris, BBC Radio 2

"Unexpected, gently startling" **** - The Guardian

“Darkly beguiling...cinematically epic." **** - The Scotsman

"Thamesis - Album of the year" - Ruth Barnes, Amazing Radio

Seventh Harmonic

We first saw this neoclassical ensemble performing to a sold out show at The Lexington with Daemonia Nymphe Official and Jo Quail and were mesmerised. Creating sensual euphoric epics which draw on a great variety of influences, Seventh Harmonic blend a kaleidoscope of soaring vocals, symphonic overtures, diverse ethnic, classical and synthesized sounds to appeal to the dark romantic heart.

The multi-instrumental cross-genre audiovisual experience they create has seen them perform in folk, gothic, neoclassical and ethereal lineups around the world, and their unusual music has a wide appeal.

"Gentle yet strong, intricate yet graspable and above all it’s a neoclassical journey performed by a group of highly talented individuals." - Heathen Harvest Periodical
