The Nest Collective and Southbank Centre present an acoustic double-bill.

Folk with Altitude returns to the Queen Elizabeth Hall Roof Garden for a third summer run, providing a soundtrack to the London skyline.

Family Atlantica could only have formed in multicultural London. The band is front by Venezuelan vocalist Luzmira Zerpa, London-born percussionist Jack Yglesias, and Nigerian-Ghanaian percussionist Kwame Crentsil. Zerpa's rich voice, underpinned by driving rhythms, explores stories from Africa and the Americas. Together, the group fuse music from both sides of the Atlantic, including Ghanaian highlife and calypso and unite the sounds of the African diaspora.

'London's musical melting pot at it's very best' **** (The Guardian)

Electric Jalaba are a band of five musicians – including four brothers with a background in groove and electronic music. In 2011, they were introduced to Gnawa music by the London-based maâlem Simo Lagnawi. Combining this ancient African Islamic form with electro-groove, they play Psychedelic Gnawa – space-age music featuring haunting vocals and North African rhythms that includes elements of desert blues and dub.

Your ticket gives you exclusive access to the garden for the event: please note that there is limited seating, other than the grass, and some views of the musicians may be obscured.
