The Nest Collective and Southbank Centre present an acoustic double-bill.

Folk with Altitude returns to the Queen Elizabeth Hall Roof Garden for a third summer run, providing a soundtrack to the London skyline.

Piers Faccini and Vincent Segal have been friends since they met in Paris in the late 1980s. 25 years on, they have recorded their first joint album, Songs of Time Lost.

Performed on guitar and cello – and sung in languages including English, Creole and Neapolitan dialect – the album brings together original compositions, traditional songs and some covers. Their sound can be compared to the stark tone of Leonard Cohen, Jackson C. Frank and Nick Drake. 'It feels like a reunion,' says Segal, 'even though we never really lost touch over the years.'

Emily Barker is an award-winning songwriter, and performed the theme to BBC One's Wallander, starring Kenneth Branagh. Her music blends of roots influences, from country to English folk via 1960s pop.

With her band The Red Clay Halo, her last album Dear River was critically acclaimed, receiving four star reviews in The Times and the Evening Standard. It was also voted Americana album of the year by readers of Spiral Earth and spent five weeks in the top 20 of the Independent Album Breakers chart.

Your ticket gives you exclusive access to the garden for the event: please note that there is limited seating, other than the grass, and some views of the musicians may be obscured.
