Be sure to fill out your holiday forms, Beaver Lodge, London’s only mountain cabin bar and dance saloon, is set to host the ultimate American Labor Day Bash on Saturday, 5th September

The Chelsea-based club, based on the log cabins found in place such as Jackson Hole Wyoming in America, will be celebrating the workingmen’s holiday with Red Solo Cup Cocktails and ice buckets of beer that guests can keep cool with special Beaver Lodge beer bottle coolers (aka koozies). Keeping in line with American traditions, there will be a BBQ with mini hot dogs and sliders as well as red, white and blue Jello Shots, fit for both the Brits and Yanks alike.

Resident DJ Ollie Twist will be pumping top tunes throughout the Lodge to get guests into the Labor Day groove. The staff will be decked out in all white, and guests are encouraged to follow suit, after all, it would be a faux pas to wear white after Labor Day! There will be no shortage of red, white and blue confetti canons, a tribute to the traditional fireworks celebration that takes place every Labor Day.

Beaver Lodge is part of The Inception Group, founded by Charlie Gilkes and Duncan Stirling. The Inception Group also own and operate Chelsea speakeasy, Barts, ‘80s themed nightclub, Maggie’s, the acclaimed Bunga Bunga, an Englishman’s Italian Bar, Pizzeria and Karaoke venue in Battersea, Mr Fogg’s, a Mayfair based bar modelled on the actual home of Jules Verne’s most famous adventurer, Phileas Fogg, Cocobananas, which takes its inspiration from a Brazilian Beach party and the recently launched Cahoots, a late night bar that transports guests back in time to an abandoned 40’s themed underground tube station.

This autumn, a real gem of a tavern will arrive in the heart of London’s West End with the launch of Mr Fogg’s Tavern. Based on the adventures of Jules Verne’s fictional explorer Phileas Fogg, Mr Fogg’s Tavern will have an ‘upstairs downstairs’ theatrical theme with a Victorian tavern on the ground floor and a refined gin parlour and salon upstairs. The sister venue to award winning Mayfair bar, Mr Fogg’s, the tavern will be the eighth project from Charlie Gilkes’ and Duncan Stirling’s Inception Group.

Let’s hear an American yeehaw for Labor Day at Beaver Lodge!
