Taking history to new ventures, the National Army Museum is inviting families to be transported back to 1815, for the most exciting history lesson they have ever had. Celebrating 200-years since the Battle of Waterloo the captivating pop-up cinema, located in the underground Vaults beneath Waterloo station, is completely free and will enable visitors to catch a glimpse into the exhilarating and often dangerous lives of the brave Waterloo soldiers.
Those who dare to venture into the past should prepare to be amazed by the world of Wellington and Napoleon. Visitors will be greeted by characters from 1815 telling tales of their life on the battlefield and will experience a theatrical history lesson alongside snippets of the BAFTA-winning film Waterloo.
Not only will young guests leave with tip-top knowledge of the Battle of Waterloo but all new recruits will each receive a Waterloo medal sticker and a goody bag to remember their blast from the past.
You can apply for up to four free tickets and be entered into the ballot to experience the National Army Museum’s pop-up cinema at www.nam.ac.uk/events.
