We’re back at the Southbank Centre for the Festival of Love, setting up our caravan under Hungerford Bridge serving Square Mile coffee, fresh food & craft beer.

With amazing views of the Thames, Parliament, Big Ben and the London Eye, our summer garden is the place to relax this summer. With 10 taps of the best craft beer that London has to offer, expect tap take-overs from exciting local breweries including Kernel, Beavertown and Weird Beard.

During the Festival of Love, Look mum no hands! will play cycling cupid so you can meet that special someone at our Cycle Speed Dating night on 15th September. Celebrate cycling, love, beer and coffee with us this summer.

All In London Review

Do we love it? Damn right we do!

The Southbank is one of London’s Catch 22’s… there’s so much happening there but you know that you’re going to have to fight through crowds to find it all – especially in summer. This only goes to support the demands from anonymous cultural fat cats for there to be pop-up bars spaced out at 20-metre intervals from the London Eye to London Bridge to provide much needed rest stops.

Okay, since nobody is actually making those demands and we’re not likely to get these fantasy pop-ups we’ll have to make do with what there is. And what there is happens to be a slick pop-up outpost from the cycling café that can do no wrong, Look Mum No Hands!

Based beneath Hungerford Bridge on Queen’s Walk, these guys even found themselves a position with shelter from our famously unpredictable weather. Serving from a gloriously simple hut, decked out in LED lights and cycling memorabilia, you can expect to find draught craft from a range of London breweries, as well as gourmet hot dogs to give you the sustenance and strength you need to fight your way through the maelstrom of giant bubble makers, buskers and human statues who line the Southbank.

While the Look Mum No Hands! shack may be small, the beer garden beside it is mighty. Chunky wooden benches cover a large section of the jumbo Thames towpath and from them you can watch the odd bike race (Tour de France/Vuelta etc.) and get involved with other random cycling-based shenanigans like the intense Rollapalooza – essentially riding as hard as you can for a minute against another person whilst stuck on rollers.

Do we love it? Damn right we do. So let’s hope it stays popped up for as long as possible.
