Spirited Sermon: The Rums of Santa Teresa

Since 1796, the Santa Teresa Family have been a key part of Venezuela’s history. From Simon Bolivar & the South American revolution to modern day social initiatives, Hacienda Santa Teresa has brought joy & happiness to people through more than just the rum! We’ll taste their award-winning range of rums & learn about the 200 years of production that is behind it.

Throughout the evening, the host will join guests at their table to examine the chosen spirit, offering fascinating facts and amusing anecdotes about its history and production, whilst Rev JW Simpson’s experienced cocktail bartenders demonstrate how to use the spirit’s unique flavours to create beautiful, delicate and delicious concoctions. Guests will then have the opportunity to use their newly learnt skills to shake and stir their own cocktail at the pop up bar.
