Nathaniel Facey

Nathaniel has, over the last few years, established an impressive and well deserved reputation on the UK jazz scene as the highly talented and creative saxophonist with the MOBO award-winning “Empirical”. A star of international repute he has won Parliamentary, Jazzwise, MOJO and Peter Whittingham Awards, recorded or performed with a who’s who of international jazz stars including Courtney Pine, Tim Garland, Jack Dejohnette and Hugh Masekela and performed in prestigious venues and festivals around the world. Nathaniel has also often been heard here at the 606, and continues to play with, mega-talented singer/composer/pianist Theo Jackson. A superb, articulate musician of keen intelligence.
